Try dye a tie dye

Last sunday I try to recognize "how to tie dye"
I used to take the Textile Design Course and that semester I had many tie dye class
I had many experiment on it

The most exciting time is cutting a string (or elastic band)
Many pattern was really surprising!!

So let do it again !!

I can find a old big white zinc pot in Mom's kitchen.
The pigment i bought from "Tang Hua Seng" (7 Baht per box)



( i really like an classic lady on the box :D )

I gather everything i can find in Mom's kitchen that is hard enough to be squeezed
such as a glass bottle,an cap of bottle , a wooden chopstick

and make fabric be resisted
by the rubber bands, paper clips and rope.

Boiling it in color solution. ( 1 box per 1 litre of water)
It takes about 40 mins.

Now see my result !!

One color maybe too boring,so I tie them again but this time
i have to plan where i want the color be kept (resisted)
or where to want it be colored.

I choose a dark purple pigment.
